When pops back up, the bar moves back 1/4 of an inch.

I'm trying to download the Mo P client, and it's also happening with the D3 client.

Close it, and ctrl alt delete and end the “Agent” process.3. it will get stuck for a min or so and then work Fix #5 (Thanks SCH)NOTE: This Fix is experimental. Proceed with Fix #5 at your own risk,“I followed all of the posted fixes and none of them were working for me.

Getting stuck on the Updating Setup Files loading screen may indicate that the Update Agent is having issues installing the game.

Step 3 fixed my problem, but now i feel like i am using a "broken" product because i had to go through this procedure for a game released today... Running the installer, and while stuck in the "Updating files", kill in Task Manager.

Here is the fix that finally worked for Graev: Fix #1 Go to Control Panel Properties Change it from ‘Disabled’ to ‘Automatic’ Run your Diablo 3 setup as administrator and it should quickly go through Updating Setup Files and bring you to an install screen.

Get up in the morning to try the new game and spend the next three hours trying to run the bloody thing.

Spent time on forums trying to figure out WTH is going on. This feels the same as If you go to a Mercedes car show and put a roll of cash on the cashier to buy and into your Benz to find out IT DOESN'T HAVE A STEERING WHEEL! EDIT: I typed this while waiting for "Updating Setup Files" to fix itself after going through Step 1 to 3.

How can I get past "Updating setup files..." when reinstalling Diablo 3, and what is error BLZPTS0007?

Killing any of the agent processes that spawn (it spawns many) results in the launcher loading with an immediate error stating "There has been a communication error, please restart the launcher", restarting the launcher results in the process repeating againsince it didn't "install" yet - there is no entry in add/remove programs.
